There is a strangeness to this that caught my eye yesterday. The Ivy was a caterpillar climbing up the trunk. I almost thought I saw it move.

Okay, okay. It’s Winter! No more denying these 18 degree temps and the snow that seems to plan to stay. I bought my first pair of Muck Boots today to get down the hill to the backyard with three dogs pulling on me like we were training for The Iditarod. Heavy but warm and with great treads I am set to navigate this country terrain and keep warm, too.
