It’s no different than any other television event. It’s just that this August I thought about it more. For two weeks the chopped up Olympics streamed to me in the studio as a fountain of cuts and cutaways. I could never quite adjust to its rhythm. But some of the most unusual images and unexpected placements, there to here, gave me a good run of shots.
