With the election, once we thawed from the shock, regardless of our political position, the outcome was unexpected.  I fell asleep early only to be awakened by the almost hysterical commentator on my streaming laptop nearby the bed.  Surely I was dreaming and went back to sleep.  Now I’m awake and thawed.

According to the Strauss-Howe Generational Theory, this was in the cards, entirely predictable and inevitable.  On the positive side, it’s a good time to be an artist.  During times when things are cracked open, we are also Awake, more alert, and more in tune with new ideas and ways of being.
